We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic people who are willing to make a difference in the lives of young people in Africa, and who are willing to spend a minumum of 6 months or more with us.

Ryan Borcherding

MA, UCLA. 6 months, June to December 2006

Ryan was very intrumental as a guest facilitator and a Monitoring Officer at TfaC's Community Theatre Centre in Jamestown, Accra. As a theatre activist, Ryan exchanged a lot of techniques with the trainee facilatators.

Sarah Easby

MA Theatre for Development, University of East Anglia, UK,
9 weeks, May to June 2005

Sarah took an active role in TfaC, involving herself in all aspects of the organisation from daily and strategic planning and evaluation through to facilitating and monitoring community workshops and performances. Her MA thesis (available Oct 05) explores the use of Interactive Theatre at TfaC as a health promotion tool.

Liliona Quarmyne

School of Performing Arts, University of Legon, Ghana,
4 weeks, June 2005

Liliona led weekly dance, movement and bodywork workshops for TfaC. Her passion inspired the trainees to explore movment in more dynamic and challenging ways. Liliona also supported the team by monitoring weekly workshops in the community.
