Am 20! We are three in my family and am the last born.I live in Salima, a lakeshore district fouund in the central part of Malawi and its very hot.I started my primary education in 1995 at Mwayi Full Primary School then I went to Nambuma Girls' Boarding Primary School in Lilongwe in 2002 where I did my Standard 8. From there, I was selected to Likuni Girls' Secondary School in Lilongwe , the capital city of Malawi where I obtained my Junior Certificate and Malawi Schools Certificate of Education in 2006. Presently am a student at Kasungu Teachers' Training College! WHY JOINING THEATRE FOR A CHANGE? I wanted to be part of the group who want to facilitate on issues of HIV/AIDS,gender and behavioural change among students and the community. As a participant I wanted it to help me reflecting on my behaviour and after being equiped with skills, knowledge and attitudes I can contribute to the reduction of gender inequality and HIV/AIDS. Gender equality is progressing in Malawi through civic education!
