I am 20 years old and was born in Aberdeen. I moved away from Aberdeen when I was nine and moved back to Aberdeen for University to study teaching. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother and I am the middle child. My eldest sister and older brother live in Aberdeen and my two little sisters still live at home with my parents in Fife.
In July 2009 I got married and my husband and I now live just South of Aberdeen in a small village. My husband works full time as a draughtsman for an oil company.
My husband and I are Christians and we go to Church in a town about 10 minutes drive from where we live and we also go to a Bible study at a couple's house during the week with some others from Church.
I work part-time as a carer for an agency which I fit around my university timetable. I also do a lot of babysitting at the weekends. I enjoy spending time with my friends and having dinner parties and I am very family-orientated. I love reading and listening to music but I don't often find time for reading as much as I would like.
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I came straight to University from High School. The last 3 years have been very challenging and I have learned a lot but I look forward to graduating next year and becoming a fully fledged teacher the year after! It will be hard work but rewarding to finally have a class to call my 'own'.
