Hi, I am a mature who returned to studying after having my family. I have two girls, called Heather and Kirsty, who are 12 and 10.
Before coming to University I was at college where I studied psychology, history, childcare and early years education and maths. I thoroughly enjoyed being at college and worked far harder than I did when I was at school.
Prior to that I worked in a primary school near my home. I had 3 jobs in the school. I supervised the children in both the playground and dining hall as well as working in the office and working with a 3 year old girl who had additional support needs. I thoroughly enjoyed working in the school and it was because of my experience that I returned to college before coming to University.
